CHANGE A LIFE FOR GOOD.
In Southwest Florida, hundreds of kids have experienced abuse and neglect. These children, teens, and groups of siblings urgently need a safe, loving refuge. If you have ever felt called to care for kids, please consider opening your heart and home as a foster or adoptive parent now. You can make a difference for a lifetime.
Children’s Network of Southwest Florida will be with you every step of the way. We are the private, nonprofit lead agency that administers the child welfare system in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades Counties. Our mission is to work with the community to protect children and preserve families. And together we can change a life for good.
HONORING THE MANY FACES OF FATHERHOOD
Father’s Day is Sunday, June 15, 2025
This Father’s Day, Children’s Network of Southwest Florida is pleased to recognize the many faces and forms of fatherhood that positively impact children in Southwest Florida and around the world. Whether biological fathers, foster and adoptive dads, kinship care providers, or others who provide fatherly guidance and love, we thank all dads everywhere. Dads of all descriptions change children’s lives for the better – and we celebrate you on Father’s Day and every day!

CELEBRATING FREEDOM ON JUNETEENTH
Juneteenth is Thursday, June 19, 2025
Children’s Network of Southwest Florida is pleased to commemorate Juneteenth as a company-wide holiday. This annual celebration, also known as Freedom Day, dates back many years in the African-American community. More recently, it became a federal holiday in 2021 – the first new federal holiday since Martin Luther King Day was adopted in 1983. We honor Juneteenth as a celebration of freedom, and recognize the incredible contributions of Black Americans to our common life!
